Carl,
Thank you so much for bringing such a wonderful dog into my life!
I cannot even begin to recommend Carl enough to those who are interested in bringing
home a Saint Bernard. I visited Carl on four separate occasions (including to meet Leo’s
mom and grandfather before he was born, when Leo was just three weeks old and on
two subsequent occasions) before deciding which puppy would be a perfect fit for me.
Leo is a magnificent dog, he perfectly tempered, loves to swim (I think he prefers the
water to land) and is definitely the most popular dog in Boston! I grew up with Labrador
Retrievers and was not very knowledgeable about Saint Bernards before meeting Carl.
Carl spent hours with me (and my extended family) explaining everything about the breed,
including temperament, show standards, growth rate, etc. There is not one question that
Carl could not answer for me, even after I brought my puppy home and had some follow-
up questions relating to shots, feeding guidelines and preferred dog foods. Carl makes
himself available at all times, whether in person, by phone or by e-mail.
On my fourth visit with Carl, he brought out three puppies (two long-haired males and
one short-haired female) – One of which would be coming home with me that afternoon.
I was having the worst time making my mind up (and had always planned on brining a
female home) until one of the long-haired males walked onto my lap, plopped down and
fell asleep for hours. Carl looked at me and said, "This is the one." He could not have been
more right – it is a perfect fit!
Thanks Carl, I will definitely be back in four years for another puppy.

We cannot recommend Red Oak Kennels enough to any one
who is interested in the Saint Bernard. Our entire
experience was great, not only did we come home with a
beautiful puppy, but we also came home knowing that we
got our pup from someone who truly loves, respects,
and cares about the breed. Red Oaks open door policy
was extremely helpful during our selection of Brutus.
Carl was very patient with us and always answered our
endless questions with enthusiasm. Our only regret is
that we didn't get two!

We were very pleased with Carl Gammans/Red Oak Kennel. This was our
first Saint Bernard and he provided all of the information we needed and
encouraged us to call with any future questions once we took our puppy
home. We were also able to spend time with the adult Saint Bernards
which helped in our decision.
Our puppy, Ben, is a beautiful dog and has a wonderful temperament. We

Saint Bernard.

Sebastian is our first St. Bernard. We found Carl to be very
knowledgeable and helpful with our questions about the breed. We were able to spend
some time with the mother and the puppy before we brought him home. We have
a very happy, healthy puppy. He has a wonderful loving personality. We
would recommend Carl and Red Oak Kennels to any one looking to get a Saint.
When we get another Saint, we will go back to Carl. It was great to see how
he genuinely loved his animals and how the animals responded to him.

Just a brief note to thank you so much for our beautful loving puppy, Penny.
My family and I couldn't be more excited about our "new addition" She is fitting
in beautifully with her new siblings.Three teenage girls, Two cats and one dog. So far, she is the bell of
the ball and weaseling her way into everyone's hearts!

Also, .. Thank you for the time you have taken with me. With the purchase of
any new pet, careful consideration has to come from all sides. I appreciate your taking
the time to share your knowledge of the St. Bernard, and welcoming and encouraging
any and all questions, and mostly for knowing the breed and bringing these little chucks
of love to those lucky enough to have met you.

I would highly recommend anybody looking for a St, to take the drive, where ever you
are coming from and go visit Carl, Diane (very helpful) and the many four legged wonders!
Especially Harry! Harry is a beast, .. with a gracious smile and a warm heart to welcome you.

Dear Carl,

We can't begin to tell you how much fun we have been having with our
two beautiful puppies, Odin and Lulu. Ritz and Noble Edition had an
outstanding litter and we feel fortunate to have the two of them. Your

expertise in breeding Saints is very apparent and we are appreciative
of the tips and knowledge that you have shared with us. We are
grateful that you always made yourself and the puppies available to us
at all times. We will never forget the first time we visited your
kennel and were smothered with the love of your entire collection of
adult Saints. We strongly recommend that anyone considering a Saint
Bernard puppy put you and your kennel at the top of their list.

Odin and Lulu are adapting well to their new family which includes a
basset hound, who loves to romp in the snow with them, and a rat
terrier who considers herself their own personal squeaky toy. You
obviously love what you do . . . don't ever stop.

Thank you for allowing Mozie to join our family. It has been one week already, and what a joyous week
it has been. Mozie has such a loving personality and is so playful. He loves to snuggle up with me and
wrestle with Dave. Mozie is such a delight, we love having him in our lives. Carl, we can't thank you
enough for your patience and kindness. You answered every question we had, and boy did we have
questions. You allowed us endless visits and home visits to make sure we were comfortable with our
decision. Thank you Carl for bringing Mozie into our lives. Our family is now complete. We love Mozie
and Mozie loves us.

Dear Carl:
We wanted to thank you for all your time and efforts in helping us to choose our new boy, Louie. He is a
great addition to our family, and has adjusted well to his brother, Ted, the corgi. You would think they
were actually brothers.

The process of choosing lou, was almost as much fun as having him. We truly enjoyed getting to meet all
your Saints and learning about them. It is really fun to be able to see how he has traits of his mother, after
getting to know her. It has been such a great help, being able to call for advice, and direction being a first
time saint parent.

We would highly recommend anyone looking for a large dog, to meet you and your dogs. Your knowledge
and obvious love of the animals, makes the experience exceptional. You and your dogs will make a lasting
impression on anyone who has the fortune of getting to known them. We hope to add another brother to
our family in the next few years, and would not hesitate to get another Redoak puppy.
